I hvent changed a poopie diaper since my daughter was born (monday). The doctor said she pooped right when she came out and after that on Tuesday she soposly pooped on her way to get her shots. I didn't see her poopie diaper... and I'm worried... she pushes so hard and cries like she's hurting and the doctors said it's "normal"... did this happen to anyone???

my son pooped in me, but supposedly pooped a bunch in children's hospital (I wasn't there to see) when I did get there I didn't get to change his diaper for a week. but he never made it seem like he was having trouble :(

he finally pooped after a week though? everytime she wakes up and I'm feeding her she stops eating and starts crying and getting really red and starts pushing I feel so bad for her I wish I can do something .. @frozenessence

yea he pooped after a week...is she breastfed or formula? I know breastfed can go days without pooping but here...I found this...it's not for every baby, but the normal range @jeasie

yup same thing with my baby girl , she's on similac advance & she doesn't poop very often but when she does she pushes & strains really hard & sometimes she cries if she can't get it out . her doctor says it's normal because she's only formula fed no breast milk but she also might have a sensitive tummy .

caleb is breastfed and can go a week without pooping! just be prepared for when she does! :P
