I been going to my ob since I was 6weeks I'm now 14 ..isn't the doctor suppose to check ur pelvic or breast exam or sumn? every visit,all I do is ultrasound then wait for the doc for 30-45 min to come tell me the same thing the ultrasound tech told me which only take 5 min or less..my visits feel like a waste plus my insurance sucks so each visit cost me almost $200 .. so much reasons why I'm changing ob office.. maybe these ppl don't like me😑

My first visit they did a pelvic exam but now it's always the same thing it'll change once you get further along.

they only do a pelvic exam once and there's no reason for a breast exam bc your boobs are changing and they're sore, they're actually being nice by not doing that. but I agree if they aren't doing blood and other stuff switch@dia644

@britt16, yea caz I been pregnant b4 and the first visit was so dif. it actually took half a day(that's in NY) guess every where is did, Caz I got pelvic exam,breast exam, they sent me for blood draw,I got to meet with dif nurses giving info.. I guess cause this clinic was on a hospital idk.but it made me felt appreciated

OK yea. leave my titi alone.loll but yea I switch, cause I rather go to a place where they seem more concerned and caring Caz I had one ectopic and a miscarage I'm excited and Lil scared about this pregnancy

My doctor sucks too. Ive only gotten one ultrasound (anatomy scan) and everytime i go visit all i get is to listen to my babys heart beat, hear him say everything is good and then schedule me again. Thats it. Last week he finally checked my cervix (35weeks).

First visit should be a Pap smear and an ultrasound. Every appt I've had after that my doctor is just in and out in like 5 mins. If I don't have any questions or concerns then the appt is over within mins of him coming in lol fortunately tho he does an ultrasound pretty much every appt to make sure the baby is okay. I've gotten a lot of blood drawn for diff tests too so you should be getting that done. Seems like doctors just want you in and out so they can move on it's annoying

I recently changed OB and Specialist. while I can respect that I am NOT the only pregnant woman in the world, I am entitled to compassion, care, disclosure and communication!

Yeah @jordydefrank is right. If you don't have an ultrasound or blood work its just in and out appts, if u don't have any questions you'll only see the doctor for like 5-10 min 😒
