I'm 28+5 with my first baby was thinking of having a baby shower in next few weeks, what does anyone think of having the dads there? Or do you think it should be a girls-only event, as the two I've been to have been. Also please has anyone got any ideas on what to do or plan a baby shower as I have no idea!!

I had mine at 33 weeks and don't believe that dad shouldn't be there because it's about our baby not just my baby and want him to feel involved as much as possible. I also had my dad there as well... enjoyed it so much. that is just my opinion but everyone's wishes are different and that's fine too xxx

I thought that@cayleighnatasha as I find it hard to involve him I do as much as possible and so does he but like he says baby inside me not him...I just think would be nice to have him there so it's a family thing not just about me, and yeah would invite my dad too ☺️ I finish work at 34 weeks so I'm thinking about 36 weeks probably xx

yeah i couldnt agree more it is hard to involve them and I find it is all about the women and think it's a great chance to get him really involved like my partner was opening all the presents with me just thought it's nice because he's always at work and doesn't get to enjoy the pregnancy like I can. really enjoy it hun xxx

I didn't have a baby shower :) But I would deffo have my partner with me! The baby is his just as much as mine! So we should be celebrating the pregnancy together :) It is an exciting time for both of us! Wouldn't want him to be left out. My friend had her partner at hers...also her dad, brothers and her partners brothers and dad :) It is just like a wedding! It should be about the bride and groom! Although some brides like to centre the day around themselves and forget their partners are getting married too lol 😂😂😂 xx
