If they give you the option for the steroids, do it! I had to get them at 31 weeks. While the idea of having a premature baby was super scary, it at least gave me peace of mind that her lungs would progress and be more developed. She ended up staying in there though! I hope your baby does the same. Good luck girly :)

@autumn, we are definitely getting them once I am 23 weeks! The waiting game has been killing me so it will be so nice to finally have a little peace of mind 😌

Are the doctors still hopeful for her health even with the premature labor? I can't imagine how scared you must be. I thought 31 weeks was too early, I can't imagine being 21 weeks :( Keep staying strong for your little one! You'll be kept in my thoughts

@autumn, we've been getting ultrasounds every week and she looks healthy and has a good amount of fluid so the plan is that I'll get two rounds of steroids one at 23 weeks and another round somewhere closer to 30 and then if I haven't had her by then I'll be induced at 34 weeks. It's definitely scary though. The odds aren't good but we're just trying to stay positive

Oh wow. Well positivity is definitely important! I hope she stays in there. Is there a good nicu at your hospital?
