Did neti pot in one nostril so far. I was able to get a lot of snot out, but it plugged right back up. Waiting for the water to get a little cooler to do the next nostril. How can such a little thing produce so much crap!?

It's almost like a tea pot and you put a mixture into the warm water to help clear nasal passages. You have to stick the spout in your nostril and hope it clears through to the other nostril. I hated it at first, but if it can get rid of at least some of the snot I will be happy.

If I may offer a safety tip, just as a precaution, don't use faucet water with a neti pot. Always use bottled water or sterile water of some sort. The threat of bacteria is real. There were three people I heard of last year alone who died from amoebas in the water from using a neti pot, because the bacteria got into their brain. Its pretty nasty stuff. Supposedly, its more prevalent in the south, but I want to make sure you're aware that it can be really bad. I hope you feel better soon and that your nose clears up xo
