I only had discomfort for a few days when I went to the bathroom. I would definitely call, you may have a uti.

@eskawho, I'm thinking maybe.. But I've been drinking tons of water . At least 75oz a day and I know what a uti feels like.. But I am going to call her. At first I figured it was just irritation but not now..

try drinking cranberry juice as well that usually helps me...but drinking as much water you would have flushed out you system. does you bladder hurt, years ago I had a bladder infection and hurt so bad but never had any signs of a uti

alot of people who use catheters get utis and bladder infections really easy. i got one after my c section and after many years of being a cna alot of residents who have catheters get utis

@wal awho, @kaylalee201 no symptoms of a uti on my end except for discomfort. I know catheters are not our best friend and it makes it much easier to get one. I just remember too that I haven't been having any urges to go either , I just remind myself and go.. I've worked with hospice for a couple of years now and know all about the fun stuff.. Was just curious if anyone else had been through this too.
