my baby has it really badly as well. she's in the hospital right now and it seems to be clearing up because no one is holding her. the ped said it could also be contact dermatitis which is caused by having the baby in contact with irritants like perfume, lotion, your clothes, etc. I guess he was right because no one has been near her and it's clearing right up.

when you or other people hold him give them a blanket of his and have them cover up where they will be holding him so that his skin won't be irritated. hope this helps.

My baby girl started out with baby acne but within 2 weeks it cleared up but then it came back but turned out to be eczema. None of my other babies ever had baby acne or eczema so I was worried at first because it looked so bad. I've been using aveno soap and lotion for treatment so far and it works wonders

If it is eczema the best thing you can do is wash his face only every couple days and make sure it is completely dry before adding any lotion. They make special lotions for it as well. I'm not positive what brand we use but it really works wonders!

My first daughter has chronic eczema and we have been dealing with it for the past ten years. It started out on her cheek at 6 months and progressive for worse and worse. If it is which I doubt considering his age. The best thing to do is apply cream to the affected area immediately after bathing him when the pores are still open, it allows the skin to soak up more of the cream. The best one I have used is Neosporin Eczema Cream. It works wonders!!! Here's a pic of my daughter with an outbreak on her face. This is what it looked like when it first started

my baby had the same but my grandma called it hives.she told me to put sulfur under his arms to bring the rest out.it was horrible.i took him to the dr for it.he had cradle cap as well.she gave me ketoconazole shampoo for the cradle cap and hydrocortisone 2% for the acne.it took less than a week for it to go away.
