you're her mommy, you know her better than anyone. just do it slowly. little by little mix it in with her formula that way you'll know if it's bothering her.
I started my son on it around 11m. I gave him little amounts at a time mixed with formula until i knew he was okay with it. They say not to give it to babies before one because that is when most of them gain the enzyme to properly digest milk. If they don't have the enzyme it can cause health problems. If you want to start your baby on it early I just suggest mixing it with BM or formula for at least a week to make sure they don't have any problems
not at all! I started before 7 months but slowly. at first I put in a tiny bit of milk mixed with formula. then kept putting in more milk and less formula by 7 months they were on just milk. formula is ridiculous. so I was happy I didn't have to buy it anymore.
It didn't hurt her, and my mother of 7 kids done it, since I couldn't breastfeed her for a short time, she suggested it, but I gave her prune juice and vitamins as well
You can just give her infant vitamin D supplements. That's what doctors tell you to give breastfed baby's. I don't plan on ever giving my baby cows milk we're going straight to soy when she's older and I'll give her the supplement
