my l&d story;

I woke up and had a normal morning, headed to work around 11:30 and was clicked in by 12. I had my normal cramps, nothing that really bothered me. I worked out my 7 hour shift (i was was in labor the whole time I later found out!) And headed home to hubby. around 11:30pm my cramps started to get worse, and finally started to feel like contractions. I took a warm bath I hopes that would help, but to no avail. I started to bleed not long after and finally decided to head to the hospital around 2:30am. By the time I got there this momma was in a lot of pain, I was shaking! The nurse checked my dialation and they rushed me to the delivery room, I was already 9 cm dialated! If I would have waited 20 more minutes to get there, it would have been too late for my epidural. Luckily I was able to get my epidural and after even managed a 45 minute nap. I was woken up by the nurse when she wanted to check my dialation again, and when she did, she broke my water! I started pushing at 3:50 am, and at 4:14 am my beautiful Harlynn Rae made her debut into the world! 😊😍😘
