I put my daughter (Mìla) in a bigger seat because she wanted to sit up early so I noticed she held her head up so at at 4 months she got her big girl seat. And she loves it & it reclines just like the infant car seats....she's almost #9 months

Yup what @maddiesmommy2016 said ! We moved our guy to a convertible around 6/7 months :) he still would technically fit the weight limits of his infant seat but the convertible looks more comfy and is easier imo

I just got my son a booster seat, Graco My Size 70, that's front facing & rear facing. He's just turned 7 months old.

They recommend that they are in a rear facing convertible car seat by the age of one. At least that is what I read online and that is what my doctor told me. I'm due in March and already have her a convertible and infant car seat. Plan on putting her in her convertible carseat around 4 or 5 months. I also plan on doing extended rear facing with her.

Doesn't necessarily go by age but by size :) so check the height and weight limits on your seat. It's best to keep them rear facing until at least two :)
