this is gunna sound like a stupid question but did any mom's wait until their contractions were about 4 minutes apart and then take a ambulance to the hospital? I live about a 35 minute car ride down a toll road from the hospital I'm delivering at and want to be taken down by ambulance.

ambulance rides are very expensive and hardly ever covered by insurance, you may want to call your insurance company and see how much it will cost before you decide.

I did and I'm still not 100% sure about it because my SO would have to follow in the jeep and I'm afraid that Bennett might come while in the ambulance and he would miss it.

labor doesn't usually happen that fast, most women are in the hospital for a few hours at least before baby comes.
