Any mommies dilated any at 36 weeks or less? Trying to see if I want to get me cervix checked at my…

At 36 weeks I was 2 and a half dilated and this week I'm 3 @37weeks I got checked at 35 weeks and was one and. Half

I was at a 1 for like...ever... haha. I don't see any reason to get checked really, because it doesn't really mean anything, you could sit at a 3 for a few weeks too.. either way, the baby will come when it wants to. :)

She may offer to check you at your next apt since it's getting closer anyways I wanted to know bc I'm a ftm I also had her weigh the baby lol bc I wanted to know if he was going to be a chunker or not lol ahahha

@babybermea, yea she said she would but of course it's my decision in the end whether I want her to do it now or later... I want to know my baby's weight also but she can only give me an estimate unless she does an ultrasound and I don't think they will let me have another one

Yes definitely your decision and I'm high risk so I get ultrasounds every week and that's why she checks for dilation early and all of that.. now I'm at the point bc I'm 37 weeks but if there's no concern which thankfully you don't have them it's standard I'm sure not to do all that extra stuff ...Your getting closer to baby time too so exciting do you have other children ?

At 31 weeks I was dilated to 2 cm, and I get checked again on Monday and I'll be 36 weeks. I really didn't want to get checked because my doctors back home told me it increases the risk of getting an infection and can even cause MRSA. But I have to say, it is kind of nice to know. It eases your curiosity.

But they didn't check me at 31 weeks at a regular appointment! It was in the hospital because of preterm labor. Just to clear that up haha
