you can at any point as long as it isn't uncomfortable even when I was 30 weeks + I slept half on my stomach and side because it took the weight off and my midwife said it was fine. actually probably better for my back

It's best not to at any point. It's not even really a good idea to lay on your back when baby is bigger.
