I've been thinking if breastfeeding will get harder once my daughter starts teething, & I'm scared…

my son is 8 months and has been teething since two months. no teeth have broke threw yet but we're still breastfeeding strong

@damiensmommy2015, does it become quite painful ? I hope once her teeth break through , I can continue breastfeeding without giving up :/

i have friends who are breastfeeding their 2 year old still you just got to teach them not to bite from my understanding like if they do a light flick on the cheek and a no till they learn my baby is 8 weeks so i havent experienced it yet but yeah babies are smart so we shall see

My son will be 9 month tomorrow and has 7 teeth. 4 on top and 3 on bottom. They're not quite big but he has them. He doesn't bite me when I bf him. He would nibble at first I would just tell him no and now he knows not to. It's easy you'll be able to continue to breastfeed:)

I'm in the same boat lol my daughter is 7 months no teeth yet but I think I might stop as soon as she gets teeth

that's what I wanted to do but my daughter bites me now just with gums cause she teething and it hurts and I tell her no and she laughs at me and thinks its the funniest thing. I'll try when she gets her teeth but if she bites me I'm not gonna do it im happy I lasted this long she's 2 weeks from being 8 months. so I'm one proud mama

@mrs.cravens, yes 8 months is a pretty good time 😊 hahha what a cutie, I can picture that lol I hope I can last that long too 😥😢
