if you've got any holidays for next year u can probably take it before your maternity and that you can ask your maternity leave straight after

id listen to your body u know if you can cope im the same are you in a job whwre your on your feet alot?x

@mummy800, yeah I work in a post office/off licence so I'm always on my feet.. but my mum owns the shop and wants me to work pretty much till the end.. like she did with all her children .. just don't know whether I can 😢xx

its in your best interests to listen to your body over working can harm your baby see if u can sit down or take breaks every few hours xx

The longer you work the longer you have with baby when born.. But do what is best for you and baby because you're the one whose going through it. I couldn't even walk around 35w with my son let alone working all the way until 38+w xx

will have to speak to her again and get her to understand. .she a bit stubborn after having 6 children lol xx

Whenever YOU feel is right. I had a lot of stresses at work in my second trimester. By the time I hit the third trimester I'd had enough so I went on mat leave at 33 weeks. I'm so glad I did. For my own mental health as well as my physical health being stressed manifests itself physically a lot of the time and I'd been hospitalised for blood clots twice so I weren't taking any chances x

I wanted to work until a week before I was due, but my blood pressure was high so mid wife told me to finish with 3 weeks to go... was disappointed but was the Friday approached I realised I was more than ready to finish... have a stinking cold now but at least it should be gone by time bean arrives xxx
