I was giving my son cereal at 8 weeks old (doctor recommended) & juice at 6 weeks old. Baby food at 3.5 months, & mashed potatoes & green beans at 4.5 months. Every baby is different, some can handle it while some cannot. My grandmother gave my uncle cereal at 2 weeks old, my aunt gave my cousin cereal at 2 days old. And neither one of them have any problems.

I started my son on baby foods and baby cereal at 3. 5 months.2 weeks though is way too young, unless recommended by a doc.

I gave my babies bean juice at 3 days old. although I started giving them taste of food pretty much after I had them.
