first think about the cheating. how far was it..flirting with other girls, a kiss, or the whole enchilada? did you ever think he would never cheat, or did you think he could have. if the answer is no you didnt think he could of cheated on you then he suprised you so I wouldnt believe him when he says he'll shape up when baby gets here to be honest. sort of in a similar situation.

Honestly I've had the same promblem and the way I've decided is he is the father of my child we may have our promblems but every man deserves a chance to be a father no matter the situation between the mother and the father. I grew up workout a father because my parents had differences so I never wanted that for my child.

I personally think if he is sitting there trying to not even claim the child then he should make the effort to see him when the military allows him, but don't give him a free pass.

sorry, but do not ever hold your personal problems against your child's father. I don't care if he is screwing everything with a pulse, if he is asking for 2 weeks to help bond with his child, allow that. if he does not use that time for the child, let the courts show him there are consequences for his actions in the form of select time and child support.
