C section wound when does it heal? Tired of feeling uncomfortable. 12 days post op now just ready to feel normal.
@kia it definitely differs between everybody. you'll be better soon hun. just don't do any heavy lifting, over 20 lbs you're not supposed to lift. I had the disolving stitches & I really think they helped heal me quicker. Just relax and enjoy your baby & don't over do it. 😉😉
U need to give ur body some time to heal .. We all have different bodies so some of us heal quicker than others .. Just try to relax n enjoy time with ur lil one .. I know u get frustrated cause u want to do things on ur own but it's best if u take it slow .. I had a c-section 12 yrs ago n it was rough on me .. I'll b having another one in March so we'll see how my body reacts to the surgery @kia
@me mesmom1031, do you have your incision still covered? Sound painful, I'm worried about breaking the incision by doing to much. I just want to be mobile not wobbling around
@anig_b, thanks Gina! I'm so desperate to get up and running asap. I need to chill out
@lovemyson_610, that's helpful to know. I totally agree with you the part where they hold down the clamps kills me the most.
Tomorrow I'll be 10 weeks pp from c section and occasionally it still hurts. It also still hurts when I lift heavy stuff and I'm still bleeding :/. I think it all depends based on your body and how fast it heals.
the part that actually hurt the worst was where they used the clamps to hold the skin back, that was sore for about 2 1/2 months
@kia, no my incision looks heald for the most part but the skin around it still hurts when I touch it and the inside of it hurts when I do to much. I was worried about it tearing open to but it didn't and I was completely taking care of her from the day we came home lol I don't live with her dad. it might be taking so long also bc my delivery was extremely complicated lol so it all depends. do you have someone around the house to help you with the baby?
