Does anyone else's SO go out to the bar/drinking with their friends, while their at home pregnant?…

My husband does but I don't mind he needs guy time plus he does it like once or twice a month

My husband goes out some as well but rare. and I'm glad he does good for us each to do our own thing even if his is the pub or movies with friends and mine is shopping or something. (: just try to not let it bother you. (:

I'm not pregnant anymore, but when I was... my bf did go out to drink with his friends several times. did it bother me? yes. but was it a big deal? no. I mean, I understood he's a guy and he needs his guy time too. and he's been with me all through out my pregnancy so I felt like he deserved to go out and get some fresh air with his friends if that makes sense. as long as he came home to me not to toooo late, I knew what he was up to since we text and talk even when he's out.

you'll be okay hon. I know it sucks not being able to go out and drink and have girl time, but its only temporary

@dohmommy2016, I try really hard because I agree I think we both should, but I can't shake that it bothers me, and I hate that it does!

I know it's hard. especially being pregnant your a lot more sensitive. my husband personally will ask if I'm okay with him going out which I think helps a lot with it not bothering me since I feel appreciated either way. You can always bring up that you would love a day for you two or a night in?

@mommytomia, Yeah I have been trying really hard to not make it a big deal, because I know he needs his own guy time and I have never had a problem before I got pregnant I feel like my damn hormones have just gotten worse since I hit 26 weeks. I should look at it more in that perspective like you did, since he has been the same with me beyond supportive and he texts me when he is out still willingly and he always calls when he is home (he is away for a month right now, and maybe that's why it's bugging me a little more)

I'm right there with ya girl!! It makes me sooo angry! It's not that I get mad because I can't go but the fact that he doesn't care that I sit at home 24 7 while he goes out

Mine does. It bothers me only because he doesn't make it possible for me to have time or a day/night. I'm always taking care of my step son or we are with his friends and their wives which is fine time to time. I just wish I got more time to do what I want - alone or with who I choose. Also, if he sets a time he'll be home and comes home at a decent hour it makes it easier to handle. Especially with me so far along - labor can happen at any moment
