continue to work with him and let him around the babies things so he can adjust to the sounds and let him smell something of the baby first before introducing to the baby that way he knows the baby scent don't exclude him from things when baby is around just like our babies they feel replaced and will rebel slowly work him up to the big day

Your gonna have to start carrying around a baby doll like I've been doing with my dog and getting him used to the baby.. And when you have the baby have your SO bring a few items that the baby has worn and let the dog sniff it and get familiar with the scent and slowly and gradually get them used to each other.. If your dog doesn't respond well to you with the doll then you may have to reevaluate having the dog around your baby...

You could probably talk to your ob about it or google some things

@icie88 @mommie2be0613 thanks ladies! He's normally very sweet..I he really looks at us as his parents he been our first baby so I hope he can understand..this week I've been making him sleep in his bed..usually sleeps in the middle of us lol...I know I'll just have to work with him.

they also can sense when your in labor or gonna in labor and get protective over you my pit did that she wouldn't let no one near me the day I went and I didn't even know at the time I was in labor she would bark if anyone tried to touch my stomach

@arijane316, I'll try that...yeah my baby is super hyper lol every time I come home he attacks me like I've been gone for years...I don't know if he can sense that I'm pregnant because he's still so rough with me..

Mine gets rough sometimes too. when he tries to jump on me, I put my knee up and he backs off. he's always catching my belly with his huge paws and it hurts. but when he meets new people he gets way too excited and jumps and barks and playfully grabs hands with his mouth. he doesn't bite, he knows better, he just puts a hand in his wide open mouth and then let's go. but when you have something in your hands he likes to try and shove his face in it to sniff it and I'm trying to teach him not to do that because I don't want him to do that when the baby is in her carseat

Lol you're welcome. mine is a pit bull blue tick hound mix so he's huge and has the double dose of energy because the hound is a hunting dog
