Hey ladies think my grandmother might be getting the flu I haven't gotten the flu shot and In a day and a half I'll be flying back to Alaska I'm washing and hand sanitizer but I'm worried for baby

it's super common for pregnant women to get sick. so try not to stress if you do catch something.

Oh goodness no don't worry. I just got done having the WORST flu. I had a sore throat and a cough and a fever for a solid week and everything is fine. it happens. your immune system is lower because of the pregnancy. being Tylenol and a thermometer. take Tylenol if your temperature is 101 or higher to keep it under 102. a high fever lasting a long time can cause problems but that's what Tylenol is for!

everything can cause you to miscarry. even things that are supposed to be healthy. so stay positive. a fever will only effect your pregnancy if it's over 102 and lasts for more then a day. obviously you're not going to let that happen right? since you'll start monitoring your temperature at the first sign of sickness. pregnant women are not even considered to have a fever until it's over 100.5.
