i tried calling my doctor... they dont have an after hours line and if its not emergency they charge you 30$ for disturbing them. i even tried the hospital l&d and i got a voicemail box @aaquino

ive had problems with premature labor already ladies and spent the 3 days in the hospital 2 weeks ago and now im having similar problems @kaitriplet1101 @jsaversky @babyrobinson0316

@mrsluciano93, if you have had premature labor i would say its definitely important for you to either try and fet ahold of someone one mire time or go in nothing is more important than your little one and making sure your alright!

I'm saying don't. I always get the "you're pregnant, that's what happens" and I've gone in with so much pain they can't even examine me.

have you had sex recently? do you possibly have a yeast infection? UTI? I had contractions while on the monitor and it felt like a bowling ball was about to fall out of my vagina. unless you are dilated more than a couple centemeters, thyll send you home. even if it's just 2

it's still not "active" labor though.

you need to go in. I was told last night that if my pains got worse or I felt like something was wrong, to go in without even bothering to contact the oncall dr. it doesn't matter if it's active labor or not, if your having pains like that and they haven't stopped or they've gotten worse, it's better to go in and be safe. if you're in preterm labor, they can stop it before it's too late

I was only at a 1 last night and they kept me until 3 am to see if I had any contractions. I hadn't had any but had dilated for some reason and effaced to 50%. I'm only 31 weeks so they kept me to keep an eye on things.

wow 3 days? and that's early to be 2 cm and 75% did they give you progesterone to stop it? or they waited?

i was put on magnesium sulfate and got two steroid shots, now im going to the hospital again and i hope im not having the same problem

Magnesium sulfate sucks!!! Had it with my son. Oh man!!! Prayers lady hope everything calms down!
