At my first appt, which was 8 weeks, they did a transvaginal ultrasound to determine more definitive gestation, and sent me to the lab to have my initial blood draw. They took around 7-8 vials of blood. They got the medical/family history from my new patient paperwork. Good luck!!
I had my first appointment at 6 or 7 weeks and they weighed me, checked my blood pressure, asked questions about my family history and my boyfriends family history, they made me pee in a cup, took blood, then I had a transvaginal ultrasound. Some doctors are different though.

However, every dr/office is different. Be prepared to give urine every visit! Also depends on what insurance you have.
