@fifismommy congratulations! It's amazing being a mother!! Word of advice....Stay as calm and be as patient as possible and never let anyone change how you might parent your child.

19 isn't that young to be having babies when there's 14 yr old girls having babies. But of course whether you're 19 or 14 as long you're doing what you're supposed to do for your baby then there's no reason anyone should be talking down to you.

@justinjrsmommy, oh yes I know. But where I live at there's always someone giving me that stare or talking underneath their breathe...especially when I was pregnant

I was 19 and had my son at 20. it's really not young. I know people that know people who were like 14 that is young. your doing just fine.

@lifewithplumms, I agree. I was 17 when I got pregnant, 18 when I had her and I'll be 19 soon. She has everything she needs, is the happiest baby in the world, and her dad and I do it all on our own. Just because we were a little younger than most people starting families doesn't mean our family is anything less than wonderful. Della was the best thing that happened to us, young or not.

@kenziem, yes I agree. My son is the best thing that's happened to me and I think I think we're doing just fine!
