Right ladies, looking for a little bit of advice. My mum didn't take my whole pregnancy thing great in the beginning. I've never seen someone freak out so much, she was actually quite upset. But she came round and actually insisted that continuing with the pregnancy was for the best, she agreed with me for once! But now, 26 weeks in, she has told me that she doesn't think I'll cope and that she won't be able to. She is a foster carer for my 13 year old cousin, there for, basically having to be q parent all over again herself. We had a blaring argument and now she is in a mood and won't speak to me, this will go on for a few days, she had said in the past that we should start looking into a bigger house so that we are together, now she's saying it would be best if I went my own way and got a house of my own. Which I don't feel ready for simply because of the stress I have gone through so far (almost lost my job, coming out of a relationship with babies dad, loosing friends, having people accusing me of not knowing who my sons dad is, him denying the baby is his and demanding a DNA so that I won't tell his parents) plus, I work 40-50 hours a week. I'm just finding it so so difficult at the minute because she doesn't seem to understand how stressful this all is. I know she has her own issues but I need her now more than ever and so does her grandson! I'm so stuck on what to do, just feel even more stressed and let down, it's like going through the relationship break up all over again! 😩

This sounds similar to what I went through. When I first found out I was pregnant my brother was still with his ex and she caused a lot of problems. Their relationship was so toxic and my brother kept having anger outbursts. He smashed up his bedroom and our kitchen. He would blow up over the littlest thing. I was so stressed I ended up in hospital. when I first told my mom I was pregnant we had the "do I need to get my own place" convo and she said No. Then like 3 months later she's all "you should move out". Talk about up and down. My brothers ex moved out when I was 4 months pregnant and we found out she had cheated on my brother and was pregnant. My brother had been signed off work with depression since June so my entire pregnancy he's not worked tbh. He's still suffering now and I have to walk on egg shells around him, even thou it's my home too. And tbh he should be out working. He had the opportunity to start a job this week and he's just wasted it by not turning up. Instead he's on Xbox 24/7. I'm worried that he's going to be like this when I have this baby seeing as I'm due in less than 3 weeks. I also had a hard time at work. I worked 45 hours a week. And when I was first pregnant my manager was fine with me but when I was in hospital at 20 weeks she started being really off with me. Then it got worse. It's the reason I went in maternity at 33 weeks!! X

I'm going on maternity at 32 weeks because like you my manager has been really off with me! But that sounds so awful! I walk around on egg shells in here all the time because if I say one wrong thing like about my cousin not tidying up, she'll shout at me! X
