why are people soo against breastfeeding?

Idk it's irritating! I didn't do it with my first and keep getting told I won't be able to and it makes me angry

@elizabeth0220 why wouldnt you be able to do it with your 2nd .. folks are dumb.. i plan on EBF im so ready for the backlash

Yeah I plan to just breastfeed and not pump for as long as I can o mean if I get to full I will but I don't wanna use a bottle on baby for a while

I breastfed for 13 months and didn't pump or use bottles... My baby wouldn't take one... People were really encouraging at first and then after 6 months were all, how long do you plan on doing that, with their degrading voices.... It's recommended to nurse at LEAST a year... I don't get why people get weird about it. Maybe because they didn't do it and have mothers guilt?? I dunno.
