My doctor gave me the choice of a c section or vaginal birth and I am having a really hard time…

Me personally will always pick vaginal over csection from what I know the recovery is pretty rough and also when you get pregnant again you will have to cut again most likely. I say try vaginal and if it doesn't work at least you know you tried . You may not feel like your hips have spread but it could have . Good luck with which ever you choose

I would try vaginally first, I was given the same option, I chose vaginally first but c-section as option B if needed. as long as the babies were delivered safely

I'd definitely do vaginal birth healing/recovery time way shorter your body knows what to do and it won't widen much and not until the baby comes out. some women their hips widen etc some they Don't just all depends but if you have a vaginal delivery do it!!

I would try vaginally first. Because of the reasons stated above as well as I heard it's hard to find a doctor to do VBac's (vaginal birth after Cesarean) if you want more babies.

I was given the same option because of how I was and was told by my OB that she was almost 100 percent sure that I wouldn't be able to have my son vaginally. Needless to say 53 hours later with only 30 minutes of pushing I had him and he was 7ibs 1oz and 21 inches long which multiple doctors had also told me that I wasn't going to be able to have him vaginally because my body wouldn't be able to handle having a baby over 5 pounds and they were totally and completely wrong. I would try vaginally first just because they don't always know what they are talking about and the healing time is much quicker!
