The conditions it screens for are Down syndrome and trisomy 18, which are chromosomal abnormalities, as well as neural tube defects, such as spina bifida.

I didn't have this done with my first he is fine and healthy, but will probably have it don't this time just to make sure, and since I have better insurance.

They draw some of your blood and test it.

I beleive its just a blood test. not for sure though.
