it didn't really bother me, I had to have an epidural because they had to pull baby B out so it was gonna be very uncomfortable (which it was cuz the anesthesiologist had unhooked it thinking I was done but wasn't) but it didn't bother me any, but the epidural may have been why.
I have been pitocin induced 4 times. Each time it made the contractions extremely strong and coming so frequently there was no break in between them but my labor progressed well and I got my babies at the end so it was worth it.
Yes when you are admitted to the hospital, they give you a needle in your arm and hook you up just in case they have to give you medicine. My last baby I was on full-strength Pitocin for two days with contractions SO hard... But I didn't dilate so I had a C-section anyway.

made my contractions worse but I managed to get through it without pain meds so I don't think it's that bad, but everyone has a different pain threshold!
you have to be sure they monitor well my first child they gave me pitocin because I easent getting contractions they gave me too much my sons heart rate went down and I had to get an emergency c section

Horrible! It gave me labor shakes made me throw up and pushed my contractions into overdrive! I hated it and will not be getting it this time around.

@aleesia, I got it when I wouldn't dilate note than 6cm. wasn't bad. just made my contraction speed up. which it did in 4 mins lol

No in her vagina but I looked at the different methods on YouTube and realized it was a catheter they used but I guess to her it felt like a needle
