Anyone else getting criticized for piercing their babies?? We pierced Fiona's ears this weekend. There were tears for a few seconds then she was fine. What a champ! 🏆👏⭐ But now some of my "friends" are giving me attitude. I think its adorable but I've been surprised at how many people disapprove. I guess I'm kinda ignorant for not seeing why people hate it.

I've had the same problem. I got my daughters ears pierced when she was 7 months old. Shes now 11 months. She hardly cried, doesn't mess with them and they never got infected. But I get told all the time I should of waited for her to be able to decide. How I see it I am her mother and I'll raise my child how I want to, and it's not hurting her to have them pierced, so why should it bother others. My choice just as much as it's their choice not to do it. I think your daughters look cute =)

I don't see anything wrong with it. I had a friend that took her daughter to a tattoo/piercing parlor bc she thought they would have more sanitary practices. I think her daughter was 4 or 5 months at the time.

people are so easily offended by anything goodness who cares its not a belly ring lol..i had mine as a baby as well. nothing wrong with it!

yeah I do I Airanna's done when she was 3 months but she didn't even cry in fact she was laughing trying to get the ladies attention

I think it's awful, in my opinion. I would never pierce another person without their consent. Mothers do not own their children, and they should be able to choose whether they have a hole put in them. It's not for the baby, it's for your own pleasure to look at, and that really shouldn't be okay. Not trying to start a fight, but that's the way I look at it.
