I started giving my son at 2 months and his doing fine but I just gave him the liquid of the food because I'm scared he would choke on the food and I did the same for my daughter when she was 2 montha

ya if you feel like his ready for food try the food they have in walmart for babies put I think for now he can stick on liquid till he gets babies teeth

try spoons like these. it's the only way my daughter would even eat baby food. it could be the utensil your using.

6 months . start him with making it very smooth for him to try different textures and then little pieces
