I had a 10 week old premature baby, in NICU they taught me that skin to skin is a bonding, beneficial, and nurturing to you and your baby.. with that being said I still do skin to skin with him he's 3 months old. How old does he have to be before its its okay to stop?! Do you/have you ever done skin to skin with your baby?! Right now he's supposed to be 1 month old technically.. please help..

How precious! Kason was born 10 weeks early 3lbs 14oz. I had a complete placental abruption from my uterine wall and had an emergency c section and he was care flight to the nearest NICU 4 hours away from the hospital I had him at and it was about a 2 hour flight. I wasn't discharged until the next day and then my husband and I drove to him.

I mean, you could stop whenever. It's up to you. But I love kangaroo holds and skin to skin.
Neverrrrrr I'm still doing skin to skin with my 3 1/2 month old 29 weeker.
Usually it's best when they are born until maybe one or two months old but it's up to you
