I heard ice can stop false contractions like my doctor says when I have contraction at night to chew on ice chips but that won't stop real labor

yes @sandycheeks I notice that they give you a lot of ice to eat if your in pre term labor

I took a hot shower while I'm active labor. pain completely stopped.

yea I heard that helps the contractions when I go into labor I want to have a water birth if my hospital allows it @shurkusmomma

I would have loved a water birth but most hospitals don't have birthing tubs. but you can do it at home or find a birthing center near you...but if that's not for you all hospitals have hot showers. they unhooked my IV and let my fiance in the bathroom with me to hold my hand and such. it just melted my contractions away

the hospital I'm gonna go to does hydrotherapy I think I would just have to get out of the tub when I'm ready to push@shurkusmomma
