so beyond livid. I was in a car accident Friday that put me in the hospital over night for monitoring. I was discharged with the instruction of getting a follow up ultrasound and appointment as soon as possible. the pain got worse Saturday night, then Sunday, the left side of my stomach went numb, exactly where the crippling pain was. I called my doctor and she blamed it on the accident but told me it shouldn't warrant an ER visit. I called my doctor to set up the ultrasound and appointment to be told they didn't want to see me sooner, just come in on the 22nd. I insisted the doctors in the emergency room said I needed to follow up sooner. they refused. I immediately called my insurance and they hooked me up with a doctor that took late term transfers and I'll be seen Wednesday. now to add to the list of incompetence...I was laying awake with pregnancy insomnia and out of boredom check my lab results from my last OB appoinment, coincidentally that was 2 hours before my accident. I have a freaking infection. probably UTI. I was in the office Friday saying it hurt to pee and I felt like I had to force it out and typically was very little. they had information that I have some sort of infection, I was in a car accident, and they still refused to see me before the 22nd. SO glad to not be going back.
