Almost to 40 weeks and my vagina area is swollen and throbs. Is this normal?

Mine is like that to its so sensitive it hurts to wipe when I got to the bathroom but my ob said its just because I'm not getting good blood flow down there and to keep my hips elevated at night and put an ice pack , but I'm sure yours is just because baby is putting a ton of pressure down there

I wish it would happen NOW! I've lost my mucus plug already, tried lots of ways to start labor, having small contractions, my vaginal area hurts and still nothing 😫@shandy69

Mine hurts to wipe too. I was told its from the blood flowing there bc birth is soon to happen. It's just uncomfortable @brandylemonds15

I believe the first pregnancy is hardest in my opinion. Your body doesn't know what to do & you tend to go past your due date. I tryed so many things with my first pregnancy, went past my due date by a few days but did go into labor by myself. I do wish you luck! You definitely won't regret waiting :)

Oh my goodness yes !! I seriously sat in the bath last night in warm water for 3 hours because I'm just so uncomfortable down there I can't even wear undies anymore
