need some opinions ladies my step son is with his mom what troubles me is we get him on weekends and so far two weekends in a row we haven't seen him and to make things worse she is hanging out with a suicidal druggie and its making my anxiety go through the roof because I love him like he is my real son (I consider him a real son BTW) all we know is she is more than likely gonna say she doesn't want him anymore like she did to her first kid but I can't wait any longer I'm afraid for the welfare of my step son.... what would y'all do BTW father is as pissed as I am.

awe hes a cutie! I wish I had some advice for you :( . if there's drugs involved you can bring your concern up with Cps and open an investigation

its court ordered that we get him when we want but we get him weekends due to the daddy working

Call the non emergency line of your local PD & have them do a welfare check on the house. Let them know the entire situation!

I would talk to his mom first and find out if she's taking her son around this drug addict, she may not even ever have the 2 of them near eachother. or even more so, how do you even know this person is a suicidal drug addict? how do you know this isn't someone who has gotten their act together and is doing really good for themselves?
I would express your concerns with his mother, and if you still have issues with it, take it to court.

if its court ordered you guys need to file violations. 2 separate ones for both occasions.
we've had to do the same thing in the past with my son(step) & his birth mother.
PD can do a welfare check, so can cps, but you would need to know the address!
