My father and I barely started talking after 3 years of not speaking each other. He does not like my boyfriend/baby daddy at all because he use to smoke pot and I honestly don't know what to do. I don't want to lose my relationship with my father but I can't just leave my boyfriend/baby daddy. Any suggestions on how to get them to get along?

I have the same problem my family doesn't like my husband . I chose being happy over the bullshit and no longer talk to my parents. But my family is toxic and just will never approve of me or my life choices. It's really sad because I was really close to my dad but if they can't accept me and my husband then I don't care to be apart of their family anymore.
