So my sister in law had a baby on New Years. My husband saw a picture of his umbilical cord and freaked out. He had no clue what it was. When I told him about it, he swore that I was lying to him and there was no way it would stay on the baby for a few weeks. He asked me "does he have to have it?" Sorry honey it doesn't just come off with the rest of the umbilical cord and placenta 😂😂 apparently the hospital needs to keep that along with the rest of the gross stuff lol
