I got my blood drawn last Monday and the lady pretty much stabbed my veins with the needle. It left a nasty bruise on my arm. It's been a week and it's still there and it's so sore! I go back next week and they have to take more and I'm officially scared lol! Please be nice to my veins. :(

I was like...heh......😕 yyyeaaahh....I hate needles....I'm terrified of them lol and she ended up leaving a nasty bruise UP my arm! I was like...wth! u shoulda stuck me twice! it was super tender for roughly over a week! :(

It happens ladies, for multiple reasons, I'm a nurse and I've been to the hospital and received ivs and blood work watched them hit perfect and still got an ugly bruise.it happens, especially if you're anemic

A lot of the time it isn't necessarily the nurses fault a lot of people have very sensitive veins, they used one on me too and I still bruised

I think the needle they used was just too big because she said she needed a smaller one but the one she used was still pretty huge compared to other places I've had my blood taken. Can pregnancy make you more sensitive and prone to bruising? because it's never bruised this bad before, even when they've rolled my veins and made me pass out and everything else. @marskhaos
