If you had to choose, I would rather the mother in law. She's family and friends aren't. That's just my opinion!

@anim, I dont have a relationship with her..we basically hate eachother, its his grandma and my mans mom, i could care less if shes there she ignores me anyway but idk how it'll make my man feel

if it were me I would talk to her and tell her. "listen my friends are coming and I would really like for u to be there but I don't want any drama."

I would invite her but tell her that if she can't realize it's about your son not about her opinion, then she just shouldn't come. Then she won't be able to say you DIDN'T invite her, but if she decides not to that's on her. I wouldn't want anybody messing up my sons day.

@amberr_0302, @mayvismommy110815 thats the problem, lol we told her that last year and she literally stared at people making faces. So she was quiet but everyone was uncomfortable

due to respect to your man you should invite her, but also have him talk to her. Just letting her know who'll be there and to be respectful or she can choose not to go on her own

Well if it was me I would ask your man if he wants her there or not. Because if he doesn't care to have her there for the drama then I don't see a reason in inviting her. So maybe just ask him first if he really wants her there
