So I Don't Know What To Do (Not pregnancy related but stressful):

I work in IT and in my organization we have these things called share drives, where each department can saves files that are stored on their computer to the server so that they are never lost.

Well, in my departments share drive, I have a folder titled with my name. I am the only coordinator in my department so I am the only person who needs these files. Everyone knows to come and ask for anything they need.

Anyway, I graduated in June last year with my MS, so I updated my resume and save it to my folder because I am in the process of preparing it for a promotion request. In all the time that it has been there, no one has touched it.

Now I'm training this guy to do parts of my job while I am on maternity leave and he goes in my folder and not only copies over some of my folders without my permission but he also takes my resume.

When I first saw it, I said nothing, I let it slide and deleted my resume from his folder.

Well Friday I decided to do a security check on our drive and I noticed that in his folder there was a resume, it was titled similar to mine except he replaced my name with his. I open the resume and its my resume with the same objectives, skills, and job duties for this position but his information and education. Some of it he does not even do.

I let my boss know. And she's shocked.

So now she wants me to have a discussion with him today about why he took my resume. I think this should be her responsibility although I'm 2nd in command. I'm feeling some type of my way because I get pissed every time I think about it and I may come off rude and this guy now has my address and personal phone number. I'm disgusted, but I know it needs to be addressed, but I think my boss should address it even if it's as a mediator.

Sorry it's so long, but glad I got it out in case he start tripping, people know what's happening. Lol.
