for all you bird lovers , my bf and I are planing to buy a couple if chickens as pets. we both have had ducks before but think its too cruel to own ducklings without a pond. Well we are so excited too have our chicks but are worried about how to raise them well. Anyone have any suggestions? we have a big yard for them and we are animal enthusiast so we know we will love our chicks and my bf is already going to make them a coup and fencing. We would just love suggestions on care for the chicks. PS we are getting the Jersey Giants if you don't know about them defiantly worth a look they are the largest chicken breed in existence.
