this has been a while but with my brothers dad and my mom it was up to her and him if they wanted a DNA test. which he did and all they did to me was swab my mouth. but if he doesn't push for it I don't see why they would

when I got the DNA test done they swabbed me and my daughters mouth and that was it

maybe you can get the DNA test done where you live instead of traveling. Your ex doesn't need to present when its done, my ex wasn't.

I went thru child support for mine I think the state pays for it
