I changed mine after my son was born. I wanted someone that would be there forever and I'm glad I chose her in the end.

My son has 2 godmothers. One by church which is my hubby's cousin, that's the one I wish I had waited to chose. I can't change her bc his whole family will get offended & it's really not worth all the drama. Besides I know she'll love my son, & that's who it's really for. It's not about me & im trying to remember that.

I'm glad I don't need to pick those, at my Church we present the baby to the Lord and when they get older they decide to get baptized

@sweetmommy26, that's what I wanted to do, but I'm not very religious so it doesn't really matter either way to me, I believe in God of course. His family is religious so I'm doing it more for him than anything.
