My son is 6 weeks old and still has his days and nights mixed up. It's killing me! 😭😭😭

My 3 day old has that problem I don't know how to fix it

You have to get a schedule going, since babies are still little it's easy to get them accustom to what you want. My baby is 6 weeks old & she sleeps from 10pm-5:30am... She wakes up feeds & back to bed till around 8am ☺️ there are times that she wakes up around 2 am to feed but goes right back to bed & up around 9 am! What really helped was bath time EVERY NIGHT at the SAME time (9:30pm) & I swaddle her (only at night, they tend to sleep longer that way!) & then she feeds & sleeps after a couple nights she she got the hang of night & day! @lilshortgirl, my LO sleep in 2-3. Hr increments. Except yesterday he slept 5 hours. But he wakes up starving after 3 hours!!!

my baby was like that the first couple of days when she got home & the fact that she was in the NICU the first couple of days through her day & nights off big time! She would just stay awake & stare all night! No crying or anything. I would try tiring her out, don't always let her sleep when she wakes up to eat. Usually when I try to break her from sleeping I give her only 2 ounces, burp her & have her on her swing or play gym an hour later give her the other 2 ounces & she's out. Once your consistent with an all day schedule with your LO they will get used to it.

@lilshortgirl, that's a good idea! I have to try something because being up so late is killing me. What do you feed her before bed to get her to sleep so long?!

Her night feeding is her biggest meal, 4oz but that's because her last nap starts at 330-630 or 7 i pick her up change her diaper & feed her 2 -3ounces only ... Then I play with her let her fuzz until her bath at 9:30 pm
