i went to the dr to have my gender determined and i found out it was a girl...however the ultrasound tech kept asking me about vaginal bleeding and i responded no because i have never had any during my pregnancy . thn a dr comes in and says that i have a short cervix. im 20 weeks. he prescribed progesterone capsules 100mg to insert into my vagina...i was scheduled to come back in 2 weeks to check how meds are working....should i be worried about pre term labor..

hopefully with your short cervix everything will go safely and perfect. but definitely ask when you go back. ill ask about it thursday too if you want me to ask if its safe? im being induced thursday
@kaylee116, i go back on the 22nd however every womans body is different. my cervix may be shorter than urs. but you may be right. my primary obgyn didnt catch it and idk y...but they sent me to an high risk specialist for my ultrasound.
@ryliannsmommy, im not trying to stress and sex hasnt been going on lately...i asked if sex was safe he said for right now yes...but im not taking any risk. i have to insert pills until 36 weeks
progesterone is nottt the greatest thing they could have given you. i have a short cervix too, but all they told me was that its shorter travel time so it might be a fast labor. i would definitely look into that
I would be but stress can make things worse, if it was me I wouldn't have sex and I would be extremely safe. Your really early so be careful! Praying for ya. <3 keep us updated. @neveahreignsmom
