i follow Preggie on Facebook, they recently posted a video about friends breastfeeding each others babies. now, I am all for people doing what they're comfortable with (being that they aren't being neglectful or endangering their kids), I just don't think I could intentionally breastfeed someone else's baby. I would totally pump and give a friend access to the pumped milk, but I don't think I could put a baby to my breast that I hadn't birthed, if it wasn't orphaned.

I couldn't let my baby breast feed from another woman. I love that some donate their milk but in my opinion sharing their breast is too much. To each their own.

that's what I'm saying, I'm not looking down in it either, I just wouldn't be able to do it. but amen to the women who do! whatever floats your boat!

I thought the same way too until my son was born early and was in the nicu, since the hospital I had him at had a donated breast milk program we got him on that since I was in the ICU and for the first few days completely unconscious. since I didn't want him on formula my bf figured id rather have the donated milk than no breast milk at all. but I would never have him latch onto another women's breasts, that's to much

I didn't even know you could donate milk until a couple weeks ago. I am going to end up looking into it, I'd love to help someone out. I just don't like the idea of literally feeding another person's child from my breast, or my child doing so. I know wet nurses are a great help to people, just don't think I could handle it.
