BIRTH STORY: So I was scheduled to be induced on the 6th at 5pm. I got there at 4pm and they checked me, I was 1.5cm amd 40% effaced. They started me on Cervidil for 12 hours. In those 12 hours the babys heart rate dropped 3 times so they took out the cervidil after 7 hours with no change to cervix. at this time it's almost 1am. They started Pitocin after giving the baby a break from any meds around 6am. Contractions coming every 3 mins. Once I hit 5cm I asked for an epidural. my water broke on its own at 7cm. and 2 hourd later I was fully dilated and ready to push. I pushed for 20mins (5 reps of 3) anf my baby girl was born. I had a 2nd degree tear.
