Cradle Cap...anyone have experience with this? Im abt to loose my mind.

You can use baby oil on it just put a little baby oil on the baby head massage it in and leave it for an hour or so then get a brush and gently brush it off

coconut oil works wonders too

@dashhaberdash, maybe a little but it's all baby hair which is very fine but don't worry about it

My son had cradle cap really bad. I just used lotion on it and when it got flakey I picked the dead skin off. Most of his hair did fall out though, he had jet black hair, it fell out and lighter brown hair came in.

My son got it for a little and I just used shampoo and massaged it in and then rinsed every day or other day

i took mine to the dr.he prescribed ketoconazole shampoo.it cleared up by the 2nd wash.i was trying baby oil and combin it out but it seemed like it was making it worse.

I'm guessing you forgot the stuff they give for free at the hospital like I did . one of the things I left was the brush for the baby's head to wash it . you need that brush . I didn't realize I needed it until my son got cradle cap . but all I did was order a brush online and washed his hair everyday like I'm supposed to and it went away . my sons hair came off some and he got one lil bald spot but other than that he was good .

i used johnson johnson head to toe shampoo and would massage his head as well as use a comb after and try to get dried out scales to come off. then i would rub baby oil gel in and put on a hat until he would pull it off lol he ended up going bald for about a month or so. took like 2-3 of doing that for it to go away.

Use baby oil about 5 minutes before bathtime but massage it in then give him a bath and massage with shampoo.

comb or brush it and make sure you wash the oil out.. the oil shoudlnt sit in the hair for a day or days or even hours.

we used baby lotion on my son's head and brushed it out then washed his hair he lost some of his hair but it grew back in pretty quick
