I have three kids from my previous relationship with my ex husband. when we divorced I kept his last name,as I did not want people to judge be for being a single mom. plus, I disown my own sperm donor, my man knows this. with that being said. I'm so stressed with this baby not having the same last name. but I don't feel right giving this baby my ex husbands last name. so I've decided I'll let this baby have his last name. Do you think this baby will grow up & be resentful?

I have two sisters and a brother they have one last name and I have my own ( my mother married my step father) o don't hold resentment at all. I don't see a reason to? I simply have my own father God rest his soul.

So he/she will understand? normally I'd be against it. I was but then he reminded me its my ex husbands last name. I don't need//want their dads side to think this baby's his. lol. maybe I think to much into it

If its your last name you can give it to him...even if its NOT your last name you can give it to them! Your babies last name can be Pumpkin if that's what you write on the certificate...
